There they were, Team B, a group of teachers moderating English A level scripts. Tirelessly working to meet the deadline to submit their interim matrix marks. What could go wrong? Well, with bumbling Howard Johnson (Wayne Jarvis) as Team Leader, what could go right? Pat (Barbara Russen), who was having an affair with Howard, decided to try and make things a little more permanent - much to Howard's displeasure. Olivia (Sue George) just wanted to see Howard fail, although leaving her scripts on the ferry was not part of the plot. Judith (Alison Levesley), a school colleague of Howard's, was not taken by his affections and had her own eye on the Chief Examinership and Ian (Owen Curtis) despite string in his shoes as shoelaces, did what Howard couldn't and wooed Judith into his scruffy hands. Mayhem prevailed as papers were marked and marked again, tempers flared, and papers were lost as the Team battled to meet the deadline. When at last the job was done, the final calamity reared its head as the initial marking was all correct anyway - bumbling Howard had boobed again because of his colour blindness!

Such a shame that the audience on the Thursday evening was not a good size. Overall, probably due to the inclement weather, attendance at this production was not as good as it might have otherwise been. Oh well!!!!
